Yuuka Shimizu Dance Studio 主宰
ベリーダンサー／インストラクター

幼少期からクラシックバレエを学び、身体表現の基礎を築く。
2015年国際基督教大学(ICU)在学中にベリーダンスに出会い、
その後、サロン・ド・デリーチェ主宰Delyce氏のもとで学ぶ。
ベリーダンスとアラブ音楽の美しさに魅了され、2020年よりWakana氏に師事。

国内外のショーやイベントに出演する傍ら、本場エジプトにも度々渡航。
現地で文化を学びながら、近年はアラビア語の習得にも励み、
舞踊のみならず言語や文化、音楽の側面からも理解を深めている。

2023-24年にはエジプト・カイロ Ahlan Wa Sahlan Festival にてクロージングガラ出演および講師を担当。
2025年には エジプト・カイロ Cairo Mirage Festival マスターガラショー出演を果たすなど、国際的に活躍の場を広げている。

現在は、ダンサー活動と並行し、講師としても活動。
東京都世田谷区三軒茶屋を拠点に「Yuuka Shimizu Dance Studio」を主宰。
オンラインと対面レッスンの両方を柔軟に提供し、個々のライフスタイルに合わせた学びを実現。
また、STOTT PILATES の資格を取得し、その知識をレッスンに取り入れている。

ベリーダンスを通じて「自分らしく、より豊かで幸せに生きる」きっかけになれるよう、
パフォーマンスと指導の両面で活動を広げている。

From an early age, she studied classical ballet, building a strong foundation in physical expression.
In 2015, while studying at International Christian University (ICU), she discovered belly dance.
She then trained under Delyce, director of Salon de Delice.
Captivated by the beauty of belly dance and Arabic music, she has been studying under Wakana since 2020.

Alongside performing in shows and events across Japan and overseas, Yuuka frequently travels to Egypt, the birthplace of belly dance.
There, she immerses herself in the local culture and, in recent years, has been studying Arabic, gaining a deeper understanding of the dance through its language, music, and cultural context.

From 2023 to 2024,she performed in the closing gala and served as an instructor at the Ahlan Wa Sahlan Festival in Cairo, Egypt.
In 2025, she performed in the master gala show at the Cairo Mirage Festival,
further expanding her international presence.

Currently, Yuuka balances her career as a dancer with teaching.
Based in Sangenjaya, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, she runs the "Yuuka Shimizu Dance Studio,"
offering flexible lessons both online and in-person, tailored to fit each individual's lifestyle.
She has also obtained a STOTT PILATES certification and incorporates that knowledge into her lessons.

Through belly dance,
she aims to provide opportunities for people to "live more richly and happily in their own way,"
expanding her activities in both performance and instruction.

Major Awards:

2022: 2nd place in the Oriental Professional Solo CD category and 3rd overall at the historic Ahlan Wa Sahlan Festival held in Cairo, Egypt.

2022: Winner of the Oriental Solo Professional category at The 5th Djewelram Competition "You Are The Queen" (online).

2022: 3rd place in the Professional Baladi category at Randa Cup 2022.

2023: 2nd place in the Professional Oriental category at The Global Star Oriental Dance Competition 2023 in Shanghai, China (online).

2023: Guest performer at the Ahlan International Bellydance Festival in Vietnam.

2024–2025: Gala show performer and judge at the ING International Dance Festival in Gangneung, South Korea.
